How to make video look like film

I have researched some methods used to make shooting in video look like film.  from what I've found we should:

•  Not use the sharpness setting as it gives the film an artificial, electronic look.

•   Shoot test footage of the same subject with exactly the same lighting, using a different gamma setting each time. Then you can choose which setting produces the look we want.

•   We should consider using cinelook, if the cameras we use feature it

•   We should shoot at the slowest shutter speed which is 1/30th or 1/60th of a second, but we could consider shooting at 1/120th of a second but I am unaware if our cameras can do that.
